Merrytar Jessica CD

"Jessie"

10 April 1993 – 4 September 2001

Jessie was a once in a lifetime dog. She went everywhere with me. Jessie was a constant companion to not only me but also to my three children.
I trusted her implicitly and never did she ever let me down. We shared a lot over the years, she always seemed to know my moods, if I was feeling sad or overwhelmed she was always there to share a hug and cuddle and my tears. If I was happy or excited there she was ready for anything.

Jessie and I started our formal obedience training when she was aged four (so no- they are never to old) we achieved our CD together and although it took us a while to work together as a team consistently, we finally did it in three straight trails with scores of 186, 175, 184. We were about to give the CDX a try when Jessie suddenly under went a change in September 2001 and the vet diagnosed a possible brain tumor which saw the end of a very special friend. I miss her terribly and never hope to see the space in my heart filled by another. Her photo takes pride of place on the piano in our lounge room.

See you at the Bridge Baby!

Delaroche First Xclusive

"Abbey"

7th August 2004 - 1st October 2005

Abbey was returned to us by her owner, after it was discovered she had congenital early onset arthritis. After trying treatment for a few months, we soon realised that although it was working to a point, Abbey didn't have the quality of life that she craved  - The very difficult decision to put her to sleep was made and on the 1st October, I said Goodbye to one very special little girl.

Rest in Peace Sweetheart.
